The Cresskill Police Department's Patrol Division consists of several Police Officers with ranks of Sgt. and Patrolman. These officers work the department's 12 hour shifts which rotate around the clock (7AM-7PM & 7PM-7AM) including weekends and holidays.
When you call the police department reporting an emergency, it is one of the officers from patrol who respond to handle your call for help.
In addition to responding to emergencies, patrol also enforces motor vehicle law along with the traffic bureau.
Patrol is also responsible for effecting arrests during the course of their shift for a variety of crimes such as narcotics, assault, theft, etc...
Our department has plenty of vacancy in our prisoner cell should you decide to come down for an unscheduled visit with one of our patrol officers.
The Cresskill Police Department's Records Bureau serves the public with copies of police reports.
Should you need a copy of a police report, you need to come to police headquarters and fill out an O.P.R.A. (Open Public Records Act) form.
After you submit your form, Lieutenant Cebulski will make a copy of your report to be released. Reports may be picked up in person at the Cresskill Police Department Headquarters. Photo I.D. required and a fee will be charged per request. Any questions regarding discovery or O.P.R.A. may be directed to Lt. Cebulski at his email: email@example.com
