CRESSKILL Mayor Benedict Romeo looked into the future when discussing pending projects at the annual reorganization meeting on Jan. 1.
Among the projects he touched upon, is the construction of a memorial to the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The borough received a steel girder from the garage of the World Trade Center last year. The town plans to hold a meeting in January to discuss the memorial, according to Romeo.
"We have already had many volunteering their time, expertise, materials and money to make this project a reality," he said.
