At 10:15 am today Mayor Romeo received a call from Congressman William Pascrell’s office telling him that the Administration has agreed to Cresskill’s request to undertake a study of the Tenakill Brook to find a way to mitigate any future flooding by this waterway.
This is a result of 12 years of the Council requesting aid as well as the site visit by the Army Corp of Engineers meeting with the Cresskill Council members and the Board of Education Superintendent and members to explain our concerns. This was a joint effort by the Council and The Board of Education to get this done. The Borough and Board of Education are grateful to Congressman Pascrell for his help in this matter.
